ULU has undergone an $80,000 re-fit since her purchase in 2007, and at least 1,000 man hours have gone into her to date. During her restorations, ULU was given a full peel by Oz Peel, a complete re-glassing including a heat mat treatment, a full new epoxy hull and repairing with microballoons. All running gear, servicing, removal of all sea cocks and full below the floorboards rebuild were completed during restorations also. With a unique teak doghouse for extra weather protection and renewed holding tanks, pumps and plumbing, she is better than new below the waterline.
