Looking for a global cruiser look no further than this 52ft (15.75m) Sparkman Stephens designed, centre cockpit, saloon deck -luxury cruising ketch, just returned from 8.5 year world circumnavigation.
She was professionally built by Halvorson Garland at Bobbin Heads, Sydney and has cruised the east coast of Australia and Tasmania, the near Pacific including New Caledonia, Vanuatu, New Zealand and closer islands for 6 years. Then left Australia in 1995 circumnavigating the world via the Red Sea and Suez Canal.
This is truely a unique luxury cruising yacht, built at the time without any limitation to cost. The hull is constructed of Canadian straight grained Oregon tripled planked on laminated Beech ribs at 15 inch centres, all laid and soaked in epoxy. The hull is in the same condition as when built. The interior and interior furniture is professionally constructed and finished with solid teak. Priced to sell with every conceivable extra to safely cruise the world this vessel will not last.
