Arthur Bishop 33 Fully equipped and ready to sail! This Arthur Bishop 33 was launched in 1952. Wainui was out of the water for six months having a full overhaul and refit. The deck was replaced in May 2006 with all internal frames checked and repaired as required. The engine was replaced (July 2006) with a fully refurbished Yanmar 22kw diesel engine with a new 6 month warranty. The electrical system was fully checked out, a new battery fitted, both bilge pumps replaced (August 2006) and the sink pump replaced. A new GMC petrol genset was fitted (July 2006). The mast and rigging was overhauled as required by the boatyard with the main halyard winch replaced. In the interior of the boat, the deck has been replaced with Jarrah planks whilst the carpeting and soft furnishings have been replaced/recovered. Around the main engine, hull penetrations have been replaced. The boat was fully painted in July 2006 and the top sides, deck, coachroof and interior fully repainted (June/July 2006).
