No of cabins: Two - The Master Cabin has an island Queen-size bed, 14 drawers, a very large wardrobe and 2 additional storage cupboards. It also has 2 side windows and 2 very large front windows that allow free circulation of air throughout the boat. This cabin has an ensuite (toilet and hand basin) attached. Cabin 2 has a 3/4 bed (sleeps 2 persons) under a single bunk, 2 large drawers, shelving and some hanging space. All beds have very comfortable innerspring mattresses and have LED bed lamps above. On occasion we have had guests sleeping on seats in the lock-up wheelhouse. "Sea Eagle" is licenced to carry 23 passengers and has ample room to sleep 12 passengers. 2. Speeds: "Sea Eagle" is fitted with 2 x Yanmar 4LHA 4 cylinder Turbo Charged marine diesels. She sea trialled at 20.1 knots under the supervision of representatives from Yanmar. However, fully laden it will do approx 15 knots. We happily cruise at 8 to 9 knots. 3. Fuel Consumption: At the cruising speed of 8 to 9 knots she uses up to 10 litres per engine per hour. 4. Tender: The tender is a Poly Craft Tuff Tender - 3 metres long with 8 hp Yamaha 4-stroke outboard. It is a very strong tender, unsinkable and can go almost anywhere. 5. Galley: Features - household-size Dometic frige/freezer, ss double bowl sink, 4 burner Dometic stove with griller and oven, NEC microwave, pantry (see photo), 2 banks each of 4 drawers (for cutlery, plates, cups etc), 2 cupboards - plenty of storage space. 6. Laundry: Has an NEC twin-tub washing machine and a tub. 7. Refrigeration: Besides the frige/freezer in the galley there is a 12v/240v Waeco household-size chest freezer in the laundry. 8. Bathroom: The bathroom features a full-size shower with glass door, a vanity with mirror and 2 wall cupboards. 9. Toilets: Two - One near the laundry (accessible to visitors) with full-size TMC pedestal and hand-basin and another attached to the Master Cabin. Both are fitted to a treatment plant. 10. Air Conditioning: A Fujitsu Inverter air conditioner provides cool air throughout the boat when required. 11. Windows: All windows are of safety tinted glass and have midge screens (fine mesh) fitted. 12. Living: We chose to live above the water level and so have a great view around us at all times. This has left 2 large spaces (20 ft x 7 ft) in the hulls for storage. 13. Hot Water: We have 3 systems for heating water: (a) 40 ltr heat exchange unit drawing heat from starboard engine (b) Heating using the 6.25 kva generator and (c) a Heliocol solar pool heating system on the roof providing hot water to the shower. 14. Water: 2 x 1000 litre tanks in the hulls. The boat is designed to catch all roof water which is channelled into the tanks. 15. Wheelhouse: This is lock-up and has a helm seat, two bench-type seats for guests, a chart table, 2 storage cupboards and all navigation equipment (Auto pilot etc). 16. Entertainment: On the top deck there is ample room for entertaining with fixerd upholstered bench seat, an outdoor setting, BBQ with storage for life jackets etc. Space for hanging washing and a garden can be seen. Our boat is licenced to carry 23 people. 17. Solar Power: 4 x 125 BP Solar Panels provide enough power to run most systems on the boat.
